Rev. Julie Wilson, Bethany’s lead pastor, is an Elder in the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has a Master of Divinity degree from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. She has served on various committees of the Wisconsin Conference. She currently serves as a Mentor for Provisional Elders.

Beyond seminary, Rev. Wilson has had training in New Ministries and Church Growth. She is devoted to making the church a place of love and welcome that is relevant and accessible to all people. She led her previous congregation in becoming a Reconciling Congregation, and is committed to making the church a place where all are welcome. She started her career in Christian Education and now, as a pastor, she continues to have a special love for children and youth and works to include them in the life of the church.

Pastor Julie is married to Ted Wilson. They have two adult children, Luke and Anna, a daughter-in-law Heather, and a rescue dog named Milo.
