Reverend Julie Wilson

Recently, our Bethany congregation welcomed our new senior pastor, Pastor Julie Wilson, to our church family. Reverend Julie Wilson is an Elder in the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has a Master of Divinity degree from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. She has served on various committees of the Wisconsin Conference. She currently serves on the Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation Board, as a Mentoring Group Leader for Provisional Elders.

Beyond seminary, Rev. Wilson has had training in New Ministries and Church Growth. She is devoted to making the church a place of love and welcome that is relevant and accessible to all people. She led the Mount Horeb congregation in becoming a Reconciling Congregation, and is grateful now to be associated with our Reconciling Congregation. She started her career in Christian Education and now, as a pastor, she continues to have a special love for children and youth and works to include them in the life of the church. Our Bethany Board was impressed with all the ways that Rev. Wilson’s skills matched our hopes for the new pastor and we are enjoying our ministry together.

Pastor Julie is married to Ted Wilson. They have two adult children, Luke and Anna, a future daughter-in-law Heather, and a rescue dog named Milo.
